Collingwood high-flyer Jamie Elliott is the front-runner for the AFL mark of the year after taking an incredible grab against Essendon on Anzac Day. During the third quarter, Elliott launched over the top of 202cm Ben McKay to come down with one of the great marks in recent history.
Elliott’s incredible mark. He got the perfect ride and hauled in the stunning mark before calmly slotting the set shot goal. The Channel 7 commentary were in awe of what they just saw. “What about that for an Anzac Day spectacular! That is as good as it gets. Over the hulking frame of Ben McKay.
