Police in Ohio say 10 people were injured, including one seriously, in a shooting in Columbus.
Ten people were hurt after a shooting Sunday in Columbus, Ohio, police said. It happened just before 2:30 a.m. in the Short North Arts District, local media said, quoting law enforcement.The Columbus Police Department said all the injured were males, eight adults and two minors who ranged in age from 16 to 27.Six people were found injured at the scene and four others were later discovered to be already at hospitals.One of the victims was critically injured. All were expected to survive.
Police didn’t immediately release any other details about why the shooting may have occurred. Sgt. Joe Albert told reporters that a male suspect dressed in black was seen getting into a car that fled at high speed. Police pursued the car, which at one point went the wrong way on a street, then got onto Interstate 670 and fled west.Police shared on social media that they are searching for a suspect who was traveling in a four-door, white Honda Civic with tinted windows.
