Police investigate a shooting near King Park during the second day of the 2024 Republican National Convention, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Milwaukee . The shooting occurred outside of the security perimeter for the Republican National Convention.
The police union that covers Columbus officers, the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 9, said no officers were injured in the incident. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office said an adult male was shot and killed, the Associated Press reported. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday."The incident took place in the outer perimeter of the RNC, within the operational zone to which our officers were assigned.
