Near record heat heading into the weekend with some isolated storms from time to time.
We reached 95 again yesterday for back-to-back 95 degree days. We have not had back-to-back 95 degree days since July 2020.
Wednesday we are seeing a shield of high thing clouds in Indiana shifting into Ohio. We will be mostly cloudy today and muggy. Morning temps are starting off in the mid 70s then we will warm to around 94 this afternoon. Central Ohio will have a 20% chance of rain for the coming days for stray pop-up storms. The afternoon heat index will approach 100 again like the last couple of days.
Our humidity will be a smidge lower, but not enough to notice without measuring it. It may be just enough lower, though, to limit the amount of rain popping up for the next couple days. Saturday will bring another 20% chance of rain with a high of 97.
