The Commission on Elections on Friday completed the printing of ballots and other forms for the plebiscite to ratify the conversion of the Municipality of Baliuag, Bulacan, into a component city.
The poll body, in partnership with the National Printing Office, produced 108,572 official ballots as of 10:59 a.m., Comelec spokesperson Rex Laudiangco said.
After the printing, Laudiangco said sheeting and cutting will commence and then the ballots will be subjected for verification for quality and quantity.According to the Office of the Deputy Executive Director for Operations, there are 591 established precincts and 200 clustered precincts for the plebiscite.Republic Act 11929, which lapsed into law last July 30, provided for the conversion of Municipality of Baliuag in the province of Bulacan into a component city.
