The Stirling shop is taking part in the marking of Free Comic Book Day on Saturday.
Fans and the curious are getting a chance to delve into the world of comic books this weekend thanks to a local store.With a selection of free comics available throughout the day, it is a great opportunity for people who have thought about trying comics.
“People can come into the shop and select any five of the comics available and some of the titles on offer are: Absolute Power from DC Comics which is a preview of this summer’s comic book event; there is a preview for the comic starring the 15th Doctor from Doctor Who with the series launching in June 2024; there will be a Star Wars comic with a couple of short stories featuring Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
“Fans enjoy the combination of strong writing and art. With the vast different styles of writing and art, there is something for everyone. “A few other writers who are worth looking out for are James Tynion IV, Tom King, Mark Waid, Tom Taylor, Jeff Lemire, Dan Slott and Jonathan Hickman and a few artists, Alex Ross, Mark Bagley, Danial Sampere, Mike Perkins and Dan Mora.
