The NFL oversees all disputes between owners. The limited partners did file a lawsuit in Maryland federal court, but it was ultimately sent to arbitration. It was then moved from arbitration to mediation in front of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, ESPN reports, in which the league’s concern was a sale of the limited partners’ interest and not the line of credit.
