Women’s Forum Australia’s Rachael Wong says Kerrie Boylett’s comments on millennials’ spending habits could have been “misplaced or insensitive”.
This comes as Kerrie Boylett made comments saying millennials want the latest phone, iPad, and cars, instead of saving to help with living costs.
“I think also given where Australians are at in terms of the post-COVID pandemic, the way that property prices have risen significantly since the nineties, the foreign investment that’s over here that’s also affected that, I think maybe the comments could have been a bit misplaced or insensitive,” Ms Wong told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
