From a leather Toteme anorak to Loewe Mary-Janes, this is what British Vogue’s commerce director, Naomi Smart, is shopping this spring.
To mark the start of London Fashion Week – which runs from from 15-20 February – the Vogue editors share their failsafe styling tips, outfit inspiration and new-season wish lists. Commerce director Naomi Smart discusses her eclectic personal style, her favourite spring/summer 2024 looks and her treasured vintage Fendi Baguette. How have you developed your personal style? I don’t think you can put me in a specific box, but there are definitely formulas that I’ve stuck to over the years.
If you could steal anyone’s wardrobe, past or present, whose would it be? Is it too obvious to say Chloë Sevigny? Her wardrobe is exquisite. Vintage runs through her closet, which is generally the case of all the best-dressed people I know. She recently did a wardrobe clear-out sale in New York, and I contemplated getting on a plane just to go. It killed me not being there. Which designers are you excited to wear and spotlight at the moment? Martine Rose.
