Commonly-prescribed antidepressant does NOT raise the risk of suicide in children and teenagers
Selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors have a suicide warning in the US. Scientists initially found 'evidence' linking the drugs to suicide in young people. Then adjusted for these patients tending to be more at risk of suicide anyway.
Says big pharma.
Maybe not, but the adults prescribing or approving of their CHILDREN to be on those drugs ought to be reported. Travesty that so many children are being given this kind of “medication”.
