Medications that are often prescribed for conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease and heart failure have been found to reduce a patient’s risk of bowel cancer.Common brands include Candesartan, Valsartan and Losartan.According to Bowel Cancer UK around 42,000 people are diagnosed with the disease each year and the new discovery could prevent more people from getting it.to urge people to talk about their insides and their number twos, in a bid to beat bowel cancer.
