The journey cost over £3000 but through various fundraising efforts, Plains Primary made it happen.

Kelly Goldie told Lanarkshire Live: “Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, the school covered all expenses and even provided each child with spending money."This experience showed the children the power of teamwork and community support.”
