Heffington, Alex Takacs and Gillian Jacobs herself take up directing duties.

An official synopsis for the ambitious project says the directors"only had to abide by a few rules, meaning audiences get to see Jane interpreted in eight different cinematic languages, her existence mediated by eight different minds". As we see in the trailer, the directors all bring a different stylistic approach to each segment of the anthology for the collaborative project.
