Some fear leaving their homes at night
A group of Nottingham neighbours fear the city's 'red-light district' has expanded close to their homes. People living near Radford Road said they avoid leaving their homes at night and that they can hear "shouting throughout the night".
Latif Sajad, a business owner on Radford Road, said he takes on taxi driving shifts over weekends. The 75-year-old added: "I see many police cars all the time on Bentinck Road. I am almost never outside to see what is going on."It happened before when I was driving around the area, on the top of the road [Radford Road] though. A woman stopped me and asked if she could get in."It is definitely happening in the area.
"I do not go out and about at night anyway - it is not safe. We have seen people doing drugs in the area as well - it is known for that.
