Concerns have been raised around an increase in drug use around a West Belfast youth club as drugs and nearly 30 needles found during half-term week.
"I understand that these people may have addiction issues and need help, but they are shooting up beside a place where 140 kids are coming during their half-term holidays and where many local children play everyday.Police have said that they are aware of the issues regarding drug use in the area around St Peter's Cathedral and that they have been engaging with local representatives to find solutions.
“I want to remind those who use these items, and do not dispose of them safely, of the risks they are posing to others.
