The US government has known about aliens since the 1940s, but kept the truth from us all, according to testimony offered at a Wednesday session of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability."Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth" – included claims that the US is secretly developing alien tech for its own ends, and some bizarre questions about whether human/alien hybrids are being developed.
"Furthermore, the US is in possession of UAP technologies, as are some of our adversaries. I believe we are in the midst of a multi-decade, secretive arms race – one funded by misallocated taxpayer dollars and hidden from our elected representatives and oversight bodies." The retired senior officer also asserted"elements of the government are engaging in a disinformation campaign to include personal attacks designed to discredit UAP whistleblowers," and asked the assembled politicians to help.NASA picks its UFO-hunting – sorry – unidentified aerial phenomena-hunting team
"Are there any accounts of UAPs emerging from, or submerging into, our water, which could indicate a base or presence beneath the ocean's surface," she suggested. Again, no one offered support, but one panelist – journalist Michael Shellenberger – stated that UAPs have been reported emerging from beneath the waves.
