Connor Goldson sparks more Rangers transfer confusion as defender 'spotted' boarding Birmingham flight
Eagle-eyed Rangers fans have spotted Connor Goldson seemingly boarding a flight with his teammates to Birmingham - just 24 hours after reports from Cyprus claimed he was over there for a medical with Aris Limassol.
Vice-captain Goldson has been heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer and reports linking him with a switch to Limassol have been rife. On Sunday, an image emerged of him walking down an airport corridor, which dovetailed with rumours that he was flying out from Prestwick to join up with last season's Europa League foes Aris Limassol.
An image being shared far and wide on social media appears to show the Rangers squad boarding the plane to Birmingham, with Goldson near the back of the pack. While it's not 100 per cent clear if the snap is brand new, it's definitely recent - with new signing Liam Kelly just in front of Goldson. The Ibrox side are on their way south to face Birmingham - who have also been linked with a move for the former Brighton stopper - in a memorial friendly for the late Trevor Francis. So eyes will be peeled for the team sheet to see if Goldson is involved.
