With Crossmolina trailing by two points heading into the sixth minute of stoppage time, Stephen Duffy was dragged to the ground by Ballinderry goalkeeper Ben McKinless with the goal at his mercy. After a lengthy delay, centre-half back Conor Loftus stepped up and slotted his penalty into the bottom left corner to win the title for his club with the last kick of the game.
