Conor McGregor celebrated a significant anniversary earlier this week
Former dual-weight UFC champion – one that may have gone unnoticed by most MMA fans.
On June 2, 2012, ‘Notorious’ dominated Dave Hill in front of a raucous Dublin crowd, before ultimately taking the fight to the mat and picking up a second-round submission win to become the featherweight champion. A mega-money boxing match with Floyd Mayweather followed and since then McGregor has established himself as one of the richest athletes in sports, topping the Forbes Rich List in 2021.
The UFC legend suffered a fractured tibia and fibula in July 2021 and is currently working his way to full fitness ever since.
