It seemed likely as McGregor was pinning his hopes on Rico DiSciullo beating no.1 ranked bantamweight contestant Hunter Azure. DiSciullo boasts an 11-2 record but got knocked out when he fought Montel Jackson on Dana White’s Contender Series June in 2018 before stepping away from MMA for several years.
