NIKITA Hand has won her legal costs against Conor McGregor, as a judge refused to grant co-defendant James Lawrence his legal costs against her. Following a High Court jury's ruling, NIKITA Hand was found to be “brutally” raped and “battered” by McGregor in a Dublin hotel penthouse six years ago. McGregor's partner, Dee Devlin, joined him in court on the day the verdict was delivered. Typically, the losing side pays their own legal costs and those of the successful party.
The case, estimated at €1.5 million, involved senior and junior counsel for both parties. The judge, Mr Justice Alex Owens, ruled that it was completely inappropriate to award Lawrence any part of his costs, despite his successful defense against Ms Hand
