Visitors will have the opportunity to do name rubbings of individual service members’ names on the wall.“This week we’ll have a number of school children and groups that are coming out and we offer a tour of this to educate people to get them to better understand this war and how this memorial really changed the way we deal with veterans and the military,” Tetz said.
There will be an opening ceremony on Thursday. Then from Friday to Saturday, the exhibit will be available for visitation 24 hours a day before Sunday afternoon’s closing ceremony. “This is a one of the time opportunitiy here in Robertsdale to bring this in and to get that sense of closure. To get that healing and really to get that reflection that happens when you bring a replica this large into town,” Tetz said.
