Ribbon cutting at Aviva premises carried out by First Minister John Swinney and company chief executive Amanda Blanc.
A controversial 252ft-high wind turbine erected in the grounds of Perth insurance company premises was officially opened last week.
The turbine, in conjunction with existing renewable infrastructure at the site such as solar panels, will power the offices by renewable energy completely as well as providing electric vehicle charging. Planning permission was granted in October 2022 subject to conditions including the submission of a shadow flicker management plan to identify potentially affected properties and the effect it could have on residential amenity.
