"The community's still reeling from the trauma and the shock," Imam Horsed Noah, outreach director for the Somali Islamic Centers of Ohio, said Wednesday. "Because this was, he was not only Imam, he was a community leader. He was everybody's friend. He was someone who had a feeding center where the homeless, the jobless, everybody would come and he would feed them ... This was someone who gave counseling to the youth when they're about to get married.
Members of the Somali and Muslim community packed a Franklin County Common Please courtroom as the faith leader's family told Wooden how his deadly action changed their lives forever.
