Policeman ‘critical’ after being stabbed repeatedly by machete maniac who he fought off with his taser in East London
A POLICEMAN is in a critical condition after being stabbed by a machete maniac following a van chase in East London this morning.
He allegedly stabbed the officer, in his 30s, several times before being taken down by the taser and cuffed by the other cop, a statement added. It added: "Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and there are no other reported injuries.In a now-deleted tweet, police in Waltham Forest said that a "critical incident" had sparked a huge emergency response this morning.
