Reports on social media told of a heavy police presence in the Marfield Street area of the city's Carntyne on Wednesday night. A post on a local community group claimed that "police, forensics and specialist units" were there, adding"they have been there since this morning, the street was taped off." The force confirmed that they had attended the area and that this was in connection to the investigation into a suspicious item found by the bomb disposal unit in Mansion Court, Cambuslang on Tuesday.Share
