Patrick Kane, 79, was last seen this morning. It's believed he left his home on Longstone Road, in the Cranhill area of the city, at around 7am.
A post on the Police Scotland Glasgow Division Facebook page read: "We are appealing for help tracing Patrick Kane, 79, who has been reported missing in Glasgow. "He is believed to have left his home address on Longstone Road around 7am on Saturday, 15 April. He has not been seen since which is out of character and concern is growing for his welfare.
"He is described as being white, around 5ft 10in tall and of average build with grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a blue sweatshirt, black trousers and a pair of black shoes. He was on foot and it is not known what direction he may have travelled in. "Anyone who believes they have seen Patrick or may have spoken to him any time since 7am this morning is urged to get in touch urgently."
