A third man has been arrested in connection with the doorstop death of John Taylor in Kilwinning . The 44-year-old died after he was found with serious injuries outside his home on the North Ayrshire town's Pollock Crescent at around 1.55pm on Friday, October 18.
O’Connor, of North Ayrshire, was also charged with an attempt to defeat the ends of justice. He made no plea or declaration. O’Connor was remanded in custody while the case was committed for further examination. He is expected to reappear in the dock within the next six days. A statement from Police Scotland reads: "A third man has been arrested in connection with the death of John Taylor in Kilwinning. Mr Taylor, aged 44, was found with serious injuries on Pollock Crescent around 1.55pm on Friday, October 18. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
