The alarm was raised at the Kilmarnock Road TSB branch in Shawlands at around 1.45pm today with police racing to respond to reports of a theft.It is understood that the bank has temporarily closed as police carry out further investigations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.45pm on Monday, December 12 police were called to a report of a robbery at a bank in Kilmarnock Road, Glasgow.
