'If you are going to film your criminal activities, we may put you in an eighties montage'

Cops have trolled Accrington drug dealers with a hilarious eighties movie montage - featuring clips filmed by the gang themselves.

In the YouTube short, Lancashire Police then go on to say: "If you are going to film your criminal activities, we may put you in an eighties montage ... but a judge will put you in jail." You can watch the film below. The clips, which saw members of the gang pose on camera, landed four of them behind bars, with sentences totalling more than 25 years. Grinning towards the camera, Joseph Oakes was one of three runners working for ringleader Hasnain Ashraf.

After the drugs were sourced and prepared, the OCG then sent bulk text messages advertising drugs for sale. But on 20th June 2023 a number of arrests were made in Accrington, Blackburn and Cheetham Hill. Ashraf was arrested at his home in Accrington, where officers seized a mobile phone and watch.
