The West Bromwich Albion boss knows the Whites have plenty of quality despite their failure to win either of their first two games
West Bromwich Albion manager Carlos Corberan won't be fooled by Leeds United's slow start to the season when the two sides go head to head on Saturday lunchtime.
That defeat was compounded by the news that Georginio Rutter's £40m release clause had been activated by Brighton, with the French forward set to join the Premier League outfit. But if Leeds fans are concerned about a less-than-ideal start, former Whites coach Corberan believes there is still plenty of quality in the squad.
“In my opinion they have a very strong squad," Corberan said of Leeds. "Until now it’s true that they’ve lost some players, but I believe they’ll be focused on making changes to strengthen the squad. “We enjoyed a very positive result against them at home last season, but it wasn’t the only positive result we had at The Hawthorns. The fans created that kind of atmosphere in many other games too. It’s true that we enjoyed that night but not only because it was Leeds, but because the fans created an atmosphere that they have done many times.
