The former Leeds United coach returns to Elland Road with his West Bromwich Albion side tonight
Carlos Corberan knows Leeds United will be 'dangerous' when he brings his West Bromwich Albion side to Elland Road tonight - and has praised new Whites boss Daniel Farke for his 'unbelievable' Championship record.
"In the case of Leeds, they have Premier League players from the last three years. They have a group of Premier League players. I know they are in this transition where some players don't want to keep playing and they prefer the transfer, and other players will come. They have two or three new players who are probably going to be in the starting XI, and I know they'll be a team with still more things to come in the market because they're in this transition period.
"He's new to the job in Leeds, but he's not new to the job in the Championship," he added. "What Farke has achieved in the Championship is unbelievable. He achieved two promotions with Norwich, making one of the best football in the Championship. It shows that he is someone who is able to make results because he has done it. He can achieve promotion because he has done it.
"I want to win home and away," he said. "The only difference is that you are going to play, or have the feeling you are going to play, 30,000 people. It's 11 v 11, but with 30,000 fans in the face of 2,000 fans who will travel - and I appreciate this a lot - and are going to be with our players. Corberan did allow himself a little nostalgia, however, and spoke fondly of his time at Leeds, working under Bielsa and with the Under-23s side.
