That’s according to the game’s quest director Paweł Sasko, who tweeted on Tuesday that he would soon be relocating from‘s Polish headquarters to help establish the new Boston-based team who will make the sequel. According to the designer, “the core team” behind the first game will also move to North America to establish the new studio.. “After the release of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty I’m going to focus primarily on the new Cyberpunk 2077 project, code name Orion!“I’m moving to Boston together with the core team responsible for Cyberpunk 2077 to establish new studio and be the foundation for the North American team.
“Our plans are certainly ambitious, and call for a great deal of work, dedication and further growth,” CD Projekt VP and CFO“This is why we’re setting up a new team in Boston, which, together with the expanding Vancouver team, will form our new studio – CD Projekt Red North America. Cyberpunk 2077 was billed as one of the biggest titles of the last console generation, but things went badly wrong for it at release.
