It's going to be a big week on the street.
Bobby searches for somewhere to stay Carla Connor is in for a huge surprise this Christmas in Coronation Street as comedian Jack Carroll joins the cast as Bobby, her nephew. Bobby is the son of Rob Donovan, who is serving life in prison for the murder of Tina McIntyre . It becomes apparent that Rob was unaware he had a son until recently, but hadn’t got round to telling Carla. A determined Bobby arrives in Weatherfield just after Christmas.
He’s also had roles in CBBC shows, Doctors, and has written and starred in his own comedy short called Mobility. Discussing his arrival to the show, Jack said: ‘I’m delighted and honoured to be playing a part in the history of the cultural institution that is Coronation Street. I hope Bobby brings viewers a lot of laughs in the vein of some of the street’s classic comedy characters.
