It’s all gone terribly wrong for Peter Peter Barlow is facing the prospect of time behind bars after killing Stephen Reid in Coronation Street. During the final instalment of Super Soap Week, Peter drove into Stephen which caused the evil businessman’s death and marked an end to his reign of terror over the cobbles. Stephen’s storyline has seen him murder three people, steal money from Audrey , drug Carla and hurt a lot of other residents along the way.
At the end of the day it doesn’t matter how it happened, he has killed someone. It is impossible to imagine what that must feel like. Could you ever rest, could you sleep. He actually says “I have taken another human being out of this world forever, what kind of person does that? What does that make me?” And he is terrified.
