A major Corrie couple has gone public with their romance in a recent episode of the ITV soap, but not everyone is happy about it.
Carla told the factory about her relationship with Lisa Fan-favourite Coronation Street couple Carla Connor and Lisa Swain officially made their relationship public in tonight’s episode – though not everyone was happy about it. Last week, Lisa was left feeling hurt when Carla failed to correct Debbie Webster when she referred to them as ‘girly pals’. When Carla later asked to keep their relationship on the down-low until she felt ready to come out, Lisa agreed.
Lisa was less than impressed Talk about mixed messages! With rumours already circulating the factory floor thanks to LGBTQIA+ ally Sally Webster , Carla interrupted Lisa’s rant about daughter Betsy Swain to confirm to her staff that they were seeing each other. When Betsy made a snarky comment about the announcement, Lisa left in a huff.
