In the latest episode of Coronation Street , viewers were completely heartbroken as one of their favourite couples called time on their marriage. In Friday’s show, Ryan Connor delivered a formal letter to Carla Connor at the factory. The contents of the letter wasn’t revealed straight away, but Carla was visibly shocked and distraught by what she read.
Viewers took to Twitter, now X, to express their sadness, with one user writing: "Carla and Peter are divorced. #Corrie" accompanied by crying emojis. Peter and Carla had a complicated relationship, they first got together in 2011 and have been married twice. Their first marriage ended after Peter’s affair with Tina McIntyre in 2014, but they found their way back together five years later. Their second marriage came to an end last December.But there might be more romance for Carla on the horizon.
