Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) finds herself in a complicated situation on Coronation Street. After intimate encounters with both Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), Daisy discovers she is pregnant, but remains uncertain about the father. As Daniel becomes aware of Daisy's predicament, he decides to request a DNA test to confirm whether the baby is his.
Meanwhile, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) reaches out to the London-based magazine company to inquire about the availability of her new job. Following the arrangement of the DNA test, Daisy returns home to find Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) preparing to sell some of her belongings to repay a debt to Carla Connor (Alison King).
