Calum plays Joel Deering in the ITV soap, the evil solicitor responsible for preying on vulnerable young women, including Lauren Bolton . Earlier this month, Lauren returned to Weatherfield after the residents were led to believe she had been killed by someone.
Due to the fact ITV doesn’t usually allow stars to feature in panto and a soap at the same time, it certainly suggests we will see the back of Joel Deering very soon. Metro.co.uk has contacted Coronation Street for a comment. In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Michael and Ronnie offer to help Joel move a chest of drawers from his old flat and into Dee-Dee’s . In order to get Lauren out of the flat, Joel hands her money and instructs her to buy some things for their new baby.
