Coronation Street fans were delighted as Mason Radcliffe finally faced consequences for his bullying behavior towards Dylan Wilson.

Coronation Street fans were left cheering 'for once' as Mason Radcliffe was told what his punishment will be after trying to threaten Dylan Wilson into changing his statement. The teens were in court during Monday night's trip to Weatherfield alongside witness Liam Connor.

The bullying campaign, which included Mason pulling a knife on a terrified Liam, recently resulted in the heartbreaking discovery that Liam was contemplating taking his own life with his mum Maria Connor watching his every move as she did what she could to get help and justice for her son. It led to the judge deciding Mason's fate, and it looks like an exit is on the cards for the young teenager as she explained he would have to face a custodial sentence as he had been convicted of possessing a knife before.

"But, I couldn't have come to my decision without the evidence of the entirely credible witness statements we have heard today. I will adjourn your sentencing for one week to hear from your youth justice worker. However, given that this is your second knife crime offence I warn you that as a matter of law, the only sentence available for me is a sentence of imprisonment."

However, lawyers for the star asked the court for a 12-week adjournment to allow for the sale of a property. The court also heard that the sum the actor owed had been reduced due to previous payments having already been made. Retired Insolvency and Companies Court judge, Stephen Baister, granted the adjournment on Monday, which was not opposed by lawyers for HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The case is now due to return to the court in June. The 91-year-old did not appear at Monday's hearing, which lasted less than a minute.
