Coronation Street fans were thrown a curveball when Lily Platt popped up in the latest episode of the show asking her uncle Nick Tilsley for a quick kick about in the backyard. Viewers of the ITV1 soap know that Lily is the 10-year-old daughter of David and Kylie Platt , and is the half-sibling to Max Turner . At her birth, Kylie was unsure whether her spouse David or his brother Nick was Lily's biological dad; however, a swift DNA test confirmed she was indeed David's child.
In the episode aired on Monday , fans were taken aback when they saw the aspiring football player Lily in the kitchen with her father and Shona, as she attempted to persuade Nick to join her for a football game, reports the Manchester Evening News . Reacting instantly on X, previously known as Twitter , one viewer exclaimed: 'When did Lily get so tall? She'll be towering over David next year.' Another fan chimed in, stating: 'Good god!
