Coronation Street fans are convinced Sarah Platt is heading for a shock new romance with Todd Grimshaw. The pair, who have a history together, have grown close in recent episodes, leading viewers to speculate about a possible reunion.
Sarah has been a firm favourite on the cobbles for years. Making her debut in 1999, she has gone on to become one of the soap’s most iconic and beloved characters.
It’s also fair to say Sarah’s had her share of failed relationships too - including plenty of scandalous affairs and romances with bad boys. However, it’s been hinted that the fire might not have been caused by Harvey or his thugs, as a range of Weatherfield residents have now become suspects, including David.
Sarah and Todd have plenty of history as before he came out as gay, in the 2000s, the pair dated. Sarah also fell pregnant with Todd’s baby, Billy, but sadly he died after Sarah went into premature labour in 2004.
