On Friday night ITV viewers watched as Joel Deering was set to appear in court after being arrested for his harrowing crimes.
It looks as though there could be a new resident arriving in Weatherfield in nine months' time. During Friday's episode of Coronation Street , Dee-Dee Bailey was with her dad and uncle at Roy's cade before attending Joel Deering's plea hearing. As they started tucking into their food, her dad suggested she eat something before having to fave ex-fiance Joel. She replied: 'To be honest, I don't think I can keep anything down. I keep getting these waves of nausea.
' In the episode, it was clear emotions were high for Dee-Dee as she highlighted it should've been her wedding day. Expecting to face Joel in court, she was stunned to learn Joel had failed to attend the hearing, with no one having seen or heard from him. The judge announced that when he's found, Joel will be taken into custody after failing to show. Meanwhile, Lauren Bolton was terrified he'd try and get to her once again to harm her and take their baby with him.
