Helen Worth is leaving her role as Gail Platt on ITV soap Coronation Street after a whopping 50 years on the cobbles and she is filming her final scenes on Wednesday
It was announced earlier this year that Gail star Helen Worth, 73, is leaving her role after a huge five decades and some iconic scenes on the cobbles.
Helen will depart in scenes at the end of this year and is filming her final episode today . Only recently on the cobbles, Gail suffered a terrifying heart attack as her family rowed over returning love interest Jesse Chadwick . "No Gail-sized coffin is being delivered to the set today, she's definitely leaving alive as I know she's been having her heart attacks and stuff. The question is going to be, is she leaving as a single woman or married to Jesse?
