Helen Worth has been a staple to our TV screens for five decades, thanks to her role as Gail Platt in ITV's Coronation Street. The actress is one of the soap's longest-serving stars, and it's safe to say she's become a Weatherfield icon.
The Coronation Street star married her husband Trevor Dawson - who is seven years her junior - back in 2013. The couple have remained happily married ever since. Among the guests were many soap favourites, such as Samia Ghadie, Alan Halsall, Lucy Jo Hudson, Alison King, Barbara Knox, Ryan Thomas, Malcolm Hebden and Michelle Collins. Other stars in attendance included Simon Gregson, Kate Ford and Jack P. Shepherd.
Two hundred well-wishers greeted Helen and Trevor as they emerged from their ceremony. Guests were transported to the Ritz on two traditional red London buses. At the venue, they tucked into afternoon tea and champagne.
