Coronation Street favourite Simon Gregson has been inundated with well-wishes from devoted fans and co-stars after revealing his health struggles. The beloved actor, who is renowned for his role as Steve McDonald in the hit ITV series, detailed his testing weekend to his followers on Instagram this past Monday, November 4.
Unfortunately, Gregson had to concede defeat due to illness, as he explained in an update to fans where he said: "Car didn't make it, which is fortuitous because neither have I, I am full of man flu. I thought I could make it, I couldn't so I'm tucked up in a very nice hotel where I am going to sleep and hopefully be alright."He went on to thank the British Motorist Museum for providing the car and expressed his intent to try again next year.
Coronation Street fans have been sending their best wishes to star Simon Gregson, with comments flooding in like "Aw get well soon - my husbands just beaten the evilness of man flu but he didn't moan about it once....not once...ahem" and "Awww feel better soon Si take care and rest up."
