Fans are thrilled by the character's return to Weatherfield
The soap star has reprised her role as Bethany Platt in the Cobbles after a three year spell away. The 27-year-old has welcomed a baby son with her boyfriend, Ryan Ledson, in her time away from the soap.
Coronation Street officially confirmed she was back on set yesterday to film her return of the the soap. An announcement on Instagram said: "Look who's back!READ NEXT: HMRC tax warning to 12 million people as refunds could be owed "Bethany returns with a whole new look. Watch out for her arrival on screen towards the end of the year" Lucy was thrilled to be back as she told fans: "I'm excited. A little bit nervous and I can't wait for you all to see what Bethany is up to."
Instagram Bethany was in a relationship with Ryan Prescott when she was last in Weatherfield. Ryan is currently having an affair with Daisy Midgley. Fans following the show are convinced Bethany will become embroiled in the storyline and start a relationship with Daisy's partner, Daniel Osbourne. Kerry said: "She'll get with Daniel and Daisey will get with Ryan."Melanie posted: "i feel she’s back to cause trouble.
