Coronation Street fans have ‘worked out’ who the new Rovers Return owner is - and it’s a soap legend. The iconic pub is one of the most well-known pubs in all of soapland and it holds a wealth of history throughout the soap's 60-year reign on screens. However last year, landlady Jenny Connor faced money troubles which put the historic building out of business.
She warned them: “Until you two pay me back every single penny, this place is mine,”meaning Carla now owns the establishment. However, following recent drama on the famous cobbles, fans are certain the pub is about to get a brand new owner. Sharing their thoughts online, fans are certain David Platt and Shona will now become the new owners. Over in Weatherfield this week, it was revealed that David was the one who stole Damon’s dirty cash, in a bid to buy his mum Gail’s house.
