Claire Sweeney , who plays Cassandra Plummer in Coronation Street , has shared a touching tribute to her on-screen son, Tyrone Dobbs. The actress, who joined the soap last year, posted a behind-the-scenes family portrait with Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone, and Jennie McAlpine, who stars as Fiz Dobbs.
Captioning the snap, she wrote: "I love this son," on her Instagram story. She also posted the same picture on her main grid, which the actor, who previously starred in Brookside captioned: "lovely day on set filming with my family". The 53 year old is no stranger to sharing updates from the set, and recently posted a selfie from her dressing room, excitedly announcing: "Back to work." Her post was liked by her off-screen partner, Ricky Hatton. The pair, who have been friends for years, started dating during the latest season of Dancing On Ice.
The boxing icon Ricky Hatton had a blast and didn't hesitate to show it off on Instagram, posting pictures from their fun-filled outing. He captioned the photos: "Great day yesterday with @claire.sweeney in Blackpool for the darts."
