Jenny Connor has been left distraught having just found out about the murder of her ex-boyfriend Leo Thompkins, with no idea her new lover Stephen Reid is behind the spate of killings.
Jenny Connor discovers that her ex-boyfriend Leo was murdered but is unaware that her new love interest, Stephen Reid, was the man behind the murder.
He pushed him to his death in a wheelie bin on the Underworld factory steps and later killed off Leo's dad Teddy Thompkins with a fatal punch. Things don't go to plan however, as the Waterford's manager arrives to break the news that they’re closing the Rovers for an extensive refurbishment and their contracts have been terminated with immediate effect leaving Jenny and the staff in chaos.
